lucky ducky
so yeah i believe in luck but not so much superstitions. why? because everyone knows luck is real. there would be no gambling if there was no luck! everyone would just win nothing if there was no luck!! but i guess thats bad luck huh? well i do believe in karma though... don't you knotice that people who do bad things end up being worse off than people who do good things? for example artist grrl ws getting picked on by this mean lady and the mean lady got in a car accident!! karma beotch!!!!

ReplyDeletePeople gamble, and win, because there is such a thing as chance, probability. Not every outcome of any activity is guaranteed to occur. I could write this, and you could never read it; or maybe you will. Neither outcome is guaranteed, and there is an element of chance involved in your noticing of this comment or your oblivious passing it on by. Really bad sentence structure there. Anyway, the point is, luck is the term used to describe one's belief that there is a greater chance of one outcome or another, rather than would be predicted by probability. So take a coin flip: 50% chance of heads, 50% chance of tails (basically). Do you believe that one person has a greater chance of getting heads or tails, based on some other influence? That's luck. Or karma. Or something else -- like telekinesis, Kyle.
